Also, it is amazing to watch my toddler acquire language skills. I want to read more about how language develops, but I am too busy participating in his life to do the reading!
Wonderful article...if we'd all just slow down and live, a lot of things like that would go without saying. Babies know everything that is going on around them. They are little sponges, soaking up all the info they can get. It is shocking to talk to a baby as if you were speaking to an adult. They'll do a double-take and their faces will say, "it's about time someone makes some sense." I like the article saying TV doesn't do it. It's about time someone makes some sense.
